Another day, another rumour about a potential new love interest for Prince Harry.
Having already been linked to actress Jenna Coleman and singer Ellie Goulding this year, and the claims obviously being unconfirmed by Kensington Palace, the news should probably be taken with a pinch of salt. But regardless, any fans of the TV show Suits will no doubt be excited by the idea.
The Daily Express reports that Harry has been seeing American actress Meghan Markle, who plays Rachel Zane on the hit show.
“They are taking each week as it comes and just enjoying each other’s company but it’s fair to say that they love seeing each other and there’s a definite chemistry between them,” a source revealed.
“Harry has been desperate to keep the relationship quiet because he doesn’t want to scare Meghan off. He knows things will change when their romance is public knowledge but he also knows he can’t keep it a secret for long.”
The UK paper claims that Meghan came along at just the right time for Harry. It is thought that they met in Toronto while Harry was there to promote the Invictus Games. Meghan lives in the Canadian city as it’s where Suits is filmed.
Meghan’s Instagram is peppered with images from visits to London, including a stint in the Royal Box at Wimbledon. It’s also claimed she has stayed at Kensington Palace and has met Kate and William.
“William and Kate really liked her and she fitted in straight away,” the Daily Express’s insider added.
“Meghan is a very confident and intelligent woman and she’s not overawed mixing with royalty. That’s one of the things Harry admires about her.”
She and Harry also have their charitable endeavours in common. She has worked for the United Nations campaigning for women’s rights and with World Vision in Rwanda. While Harry works hard for a number of causes, ranging from mental health awareness, to working with officers injured in battle, to most recently spending three weeks in Malawi working with African Parks – a NGO that protects national parks – to help with a project called 500 Elephants which aims to move 500 elephants across Malawi to new homes.
