Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan haven’t been shy of a subtle PDA during their royal tour Down Under.
There’s been hand-holding, arm-stroking, and too many loving looks to count.
But in what might be the sweetest gesture of them all, an intimate moment between the couple has been shared for the world to see – and quite frankly, we are swooning.
Kensington Palace posted an official message from Prince Harry to New Zealand for their hospitality during the royal tour, and along with it came a picture taken by the Duke himself of his pregnant wife.
In the stunning photograph, Meghan is seen standing in a beautiful forest called Redwoods Tree Walk in Rotorua. But it’s the way Meghan is cradling her very obvious baby-bump that has us giddy.
See the adorable image below:
To accompany the image, Harry wrote: “Thank you New Zealand for the most wonderful last week of our tour. It has been a privilege to meet so many friendly Kiwis.
Australia, Fiji, Tonga and NZ – we leave feeling inspired and reminded of how every single one of us can make a difference.”
He then ended with a quote from Kate Sheppard, the most prominent member of the women’s suffrage movement in New Zealand: “The rain that refreshes the parched ground, is made up of single drops.”
And there’s more – the plain black puffer jacket Meghan is pictured wearing belongs to Harry, who was pictured wearing it earlier in the week when the pair visited the Abel Tasman National Park.
Given the Duchesses wardrobe is usually packed with carefully selected designer women’s wear, this off-the-cuff style choice must have been down to the Prince simply being a gentleman to help his chilly wife!
The royal couple have certainly left a strong impression on New Zealand as they ended their 16-day tour.
In a rousing speech at Wellington’s Parliament House on Monday, Meghan spoke about female empowerment and the women’s suffrage movement for which New Zealand is known for.
“Women’s suffrage is not simply about the right to vote for women but also about what that represents,” she said.
“Bravo New Zealand for championing this right 125 years ago – for the women who well deserve to have an active voice and acknowledged vote, and for all of the people that this effort has paved the way for globally.”

The royal parents-to-be also captured our hearts when Harry delivered a slightly less formal speech while in the Abel Tasman.
As he thanked their accompanying guests during the engagement, the ginger Prince let slip an adorable nickname for his unborn baby.
“From myself, my wife and our little bump, we are so grateful to be here.”
We can’t wait for more sweet moments between the royal couple ahead of the arrival of baby Sussex!
