Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly fired their PR team in the US amid new rumours they’re planning to move out of their multi-million-dollar Montecito home.
The royal pair have let go their PR team from US-based Sunshine Sachs, who engineered their transition into life in America away from the royal spotlight.
Now the couple are working with PR “big wig” Christine Weil Schirmer, who had been managing PR for their Archewell charity for some time now.
“This is a really big deal for Meghan… She takes the view that she doesn’t need to pay an outside firm a lot of money to do PR for her and Harry anymore,” an insider told The Daily Mail.
Harry and Meghan seem to be streamlining their PR process, with Schirmer taking over the management of their personal PR as the couple ramp up their non-royal careers.
The couple have several projects in the works for 2023, including Meghan’s ongoing podcast series Archetypes, Harry’s upcoming memoir and producing content with Netflix.
Having Schirmer direct their PR strategy could help the couple manage their own image in the months to come, however she may have to tackle some other umrous about the couple before the new year arrives.
Santa Barbara News-Press have reported that Harry and Meghan are moving out of their lavish Montecito home just over two years after purchasing it for an estimated $22 million.

Despite Meghan gushing about the mansion in a recent interview, the couple are allegedly moving out because the home doesn’t “properly accommodate” them and their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
“They want to stay in the neighbourhood or nearby, but they aren’t over the moon about the house or the location,” the insider said.
The outlet claims the couple are relocating to the Hope Ranch community, a luxe private community just over 16 kilometres away.
Meghan previously told The Cut that she and Harry had avoided the Montecito home when looking for houses, as it was out of their budget.
“We didn’t have jobs, so we just were not going to come and see this house. It wasn’t possible,” she said.
But after touring the mansion, which boasts nine bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, Meghan told her husband “We have to get this house”.
“We did everything we could to get this house,” she added, but just two years on she and Harry are reportedly “hunting” for something new.
