The eagles have landed!
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, along with their four month-old son Archie, have landed in Cape Town, South Africa, for the start of their 10-day royal tour, their first royal tour as a family of three.
While Prince Harry has visited South Africa before on numerous occasions, this marks the first time for Duchess Meghan and little Archie.
A royal spokesperson revealed ahead of their trip: “Their Royal Highnesses are very much looking forward to their arrival in Africa tomorrow on their first official tour as a family. As you well know, Africa holds a very special place in the Duke’s heart and he is looking forward to sharing South Africa with the duchess and their son. It is a really busy programme, four countries in ten days, and we have an extra special small passenger to make things more lively.”
Royal fans first caught a glimpse of the Sussex family being escorted out of the airport and dressed in his little bobble hat, Archie was the picture of cuteness!
In fact, little Archie drew some comparisons to his dad, who wore a similar outfit back when he was a baby in the 1980s.
And seeing as Archie has already inherited his dad’s red hair, we’re guessing there will be many more father/son twinning moments as the years go on.
While the couple had no official welcome at the airport, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left Archie behind and headed to a Justice Desk initiative in Nyanga township, Cape Town.
The Justice Desk initiative teaches children about their rights, with the young girls in the community are taught self-defence and female empowerment training.
While Harry wore a crisp white shirt, Meghan looked radiant in a patterned black and white dress by sustainable label Mayamiko, which was sourced and made in Malawi by the artisans at the Mayamiko workshop.
She paired the look with black espadrille sandals and the two royal parents immediately took some time to chat to some of their younger well-wishers.
Meghan and Harry took time to chat with some local youngsters in Cape Town.

While Duchess Meghan looked on fondly, Prince Harry knelt down and smiled cheekily with one of the many children in attendance.
He also shared a warm hug with another onlooker while the duchess tenderly patted one child on the head.
He sure is a hit with the kids!

(Image: Getty Images)In one sweet moment caught on camera, Prince Harry was seen to kiss the hands of an elderly community worker and we couldn’t help but be reminded of his late mother, Princess Diana, whose warm and affectionate personality won the hearts of many.
“Thank you for having us, thank you so much,” he can be heard saying in the clip.
“You’re doing an amazing thing here, you’re doing a very good job,” he adds.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will then visit the District Six Museum, which honours the thousands forced to leave their homes during the apartheid era.
Their day will finish with a cooking activity alongside former residents of District Six where in the 1970s, over 60,000 people living there were forcibly removed during the apartheid regime.
