Although he wasn’t persuaded into the waves himself – a feat given how hot it looks! – Prince Harry spent some time on Durban Beach with 12 young men from the Surfers Not Street Children project yesterday.
As a part of his South African tour, the breaded prince watched the funsters take to the surf after he had spoken to them about how the charity – which helps disadvantaged and homeless teenagers become independent adults – had helped them reshape their lives.
According to the Daily Mail, Harry, who doesn’t mind a spot of surfing himself, also discussed how dangerous it was surfing in South Africa given the large population of sharks.
But by the looks of the smiles on the young surfer’s faces, we’re not convinced anything would deter them from the water!
