Duchess Catherine and Prince William’s third royal baby may have just been welcomed into the world, but it’s business as usual for the newborn prince’s uncle and aunt-to-be Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they kept their scheduled royal engagement.
Stepping out hours after Kate gave birth, Prince Harry and his fiancée Meghan attended a Memorial Service to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the murder of Stephen Lawrence — a black British man who was killed in a racially charged attack 25 years ago at the age of 18.
Harry and Meghan, who wore a belted black dress from Hugo Boss and styled her hair in her signature low-bun, met Baroness Lawrence, Stephen Lawrence’s mother, at the entrance of the St. Martin-in-the-Fields church before taking their seats.
During the service, the prince read a message of support on behalf of his father Prince Charles.
While the soon-to-be newlyweds did not make mention of the baby’s arrival, they previously stated they are delighted by the news.
