Prince William, Duke of Cambridge has personally delivered a very special note to Father Christmas.
During the second day of his two-day visit to Finland on Thursday, the 35-year-old royal handed the guy with the big white beard a handwritten wish list from his son Prince George.
“I’ve seen you and I had to give you this letter,” he said. “He hasn’t written down many requests, so I think one request is probably okay.”
The father-of-two (soon-to-be three!) even added that his son had been “a nice boy” during the past year.
In the letter, the four-year-old circled that he had been “nice,” rather than “naughty” and asked for a “police car” under the tree. He even signed his name (just “George,” no title necessary when Santa’s involved) at the bottom.
What’s even cuter, the tot wasn’t in the least bit greedy about his wish list — he left four of the five lines on the pre-printed note blank.
There’s no word yet on what his little sister, Princess Charlotte, hopes to score this year.
William and his wife, Duchess Catherine, are currently expecting their third little prince or princess in April 2018.
The beloved couple have not yet confirmed the baby’s exact due date, however there’s a chance the new royal addition could share their birthday with their great-granny the Queen, who will celebrate her 92nd on 21 April.
Or, if the royal bub were to arrive later in the month, their grand entrance could coincide with the Duke and Duchess’s seventh wedding anniversary on 29 April.
Prince William has previously opened up about the exciting baby news.
The royal recently dropped by a National Mental Health and Policing Conference in Oxford, England to give the keynote address. There, he spoke about the happy news while also providing a health update on his wife of six years as she continues to suffer from extreme morning sickness or ‘hyperemesis gravidarum’ — the same nasty condition she battled while pregnant with their two previous children.
“It’s very good news,” he said.
“We need Catherine to get over this first bit and then we can start celebrating. It’s always a bit anxious to start with, but she’s well.”
