He may be just over a week old, but Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry’s newborn son Archie already has some friends in seriously high places, and his list of elite visitors just keeps on growing.
Just days after meeting his regal aunt and uncle Duchess Catherine and Prince William earlier this week, the week old cherub has now met another elite regal visitor – and it might be his most exciting one yet.
On Tuesday, it was reported Kate and William were finally able to visit Meghan and Harry’s home Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, where they are enjoying their first few weeks as new parents together.
The pair were eager to meet the newborn, especially after sharing their excitement with the public at an event days earlier, where they dished out some advice for the new parents to boot.
Duchess Catherine told onlookers that she and Prince William were “looking forward to meeting the new baby and finding out what his name’s going to be”
She added: “These next few weeks are always a bit daunting the first time round so we wish them all the best.”
Now, it seems its another important royal’s turn to meet the gorgeous new baby boy – Prince Charles.
Indeed on Thursday evening, it was reported the Prince was expected to visit Archie and see how Harry and Meghan are doing as new parents.
It seems its been a long time coming for the Prince of Wales to meet his new grandson, who was born on May 6.
That being said, it’s been a very busy week for the 70-year-old, who visited Germany with wife Duchess Camilla, as well as hosting a garden party at Buckingham Palace on behalf of the Queen.
Charles was seen putting on an animated display, laughing with guests in attendance while looking smart in a grey suit and top hat.
While it’s unknown if Camilla was with Charles for the exciting first meeting with baby Archie, she’s certainly put on her own grand displays this week, attending the garden party in a striking white dress.
The button down Bruce Oldfield design, which she paired with a top hat, looked simply stunning on the royal.
As for Princess Charlotte, Prince George and Prince Louis are yet to meet their playmate-to-be baby Archie, despite reports saying they are “dying” to see him!
Kate and Wills’ visit is understood to have been a child-free engagement, and a report from Hello! cited the relatable reason for it – it was simply past their children’s bedtime!
That being said, the kids are sure to meet their new cousin soon, with a source telling The Express: “Prince George, five and Princess Charlotte, four, have already been asking their parents when they can meet their new cousin, they are as excited as anybody.”
