It was a dress that turned heads the world over – and it’ll continue to mesmerise royal fans for a long time, including Duchess Meghan.
Footage from the trailer for upcoming documentary Queen of the World shows the newlywed seeing her Givenchy wedding dress for the first time since wearing it to the big event in May.
Her reaction shows just how much it means to her, and frankly, it’s warming our hearts.

The two-part series will discuss the Queen as head of the Commonwealth, and how she is passing down her duties to the younger generation of royals.
In the trailer, Meghan is seen touching her wedding dress and making a remark on the task of leading the Commonwealth: “53 countries. Oh my goodness. It will keep us busy,” she says with a laugh.
According to Hello!, the Duchess will discuss how the Commonwealth emblem was sewn into her veil for the big day.
Flora from all the Commonwealth countries featured along the veil along with two of Meghan’s favourtie flowers: Wintersweet and the California Poppy.
Meghan will also feature in the series at an engagement with the Countess of Wessex and other designers from the Commonwealth to exhibit their creations at the Palace during London Fashion Week.
In addition, Prince Harry and Prince William feature in the trailer, with Markle’s husband making a humorous comment to a team of hospitality professionals at the Palace:
“If you suddenly bump into [The Queen] in the corridor, don’t panic. I know you will. We all do!”
According to Hello! the series was filmed for over a year, with producers gaining privileged access to the royal family, including the Queen, Prince Charles and his children and their spouses.

If the trailer is anything to go by, Markle looks more than set to take on the royal duties expected of her.
The 37-year-old has already proved her dedication to charity work as a Duchess. Earlier this week, Kensington Palace announced Markle’s support for a new charity cookbook, which was developed by the community affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
Earlier this month, Meghan’s legions of fans were also thrilled when she sent personal thank you letters to those who had written to her for her birthday.
“The Duchess of Sussex is so touched you took the trouble to write as you did on the occasion of her 37th birthday,” the message read.
It continued: “It really was most thoughtful of you and Her Royal Highness sends you her heartfelt thanks and best wishes.”
Suffice to say, we’re excited to see the dedicated Duchess in the upcoming documentary!
