Uh oh, yet another one bites the dust! Duchess Meghan has lost another royal aide, making them the third person to walk since her royal wedding to Prince Harry in May.
Samantha Cohen, private secretary to Harry and Meghan will leave their service in British spring 2019 – after the birth of the new royal baby.
And with 17 years of working for the royals under her belt, we can only imagine it’s going to be quite the loss.
But could Meghan’s attitude be the reason for all of this?
According to The Times, a source close to Meghan said: “Sam will be a huge loss.”
“Going forward, Meghan might need someone cut from a slightly different cloth to traditional courtiers, who is not a career civil servant or royal insider”.
Nicknamed Samantha ‘The Panther,’ the former royal aide served as assistant private secretary and communications secretary to the Queen and was one of her most trusted members of staff.
She only started working for the Sussex duo on an interim basis earlier this year and while Meghan was keen to keep her on in a permanent position, Samantha wasn’t too keen.
Perhaps one of the reasons for this was the former Suits star’s early morning antics – she reportedly sends ideas and requests to her palace staff at 5am and during their visit to Australia, mentioned how she was up at 4:30am to fit in a yoga workout.
“Meghan needs someone with reserves of energy and patience to help her define her future role,” the source added.
Last month, the palace was rocked after it was revealed one of Meghan’s personal assistants named Melissa quit after just six months of working with the royal couple.
British publication The Mirror, revealed that the resignation was a “real shock” as the the job itself was described as quite the glamorous gig. But not only was the job itself intense, but Meghan’s attitude didn’t help.
“Meghan put a lot of demands on her and it ended up with her in tears,” a source said.
“Melissa is a total professional and fantastic at her job, but things came to a head and it was easier for them both to go their separate ways.”

It’s not just the royal staffers who have butted heads with the former Meghan Markle.
In the lead up to the royal wedding, the UK’s Telegraph reported that Duchess Catherine was left “in tears” after her daughter Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting for the big event.
“Kate had only just given birth to Prince Louis and was feeling quite emotional,” royal reporter Camilla Tominey spilled.
Tominey adds that she spoke with “two separate sources” who confirmed Kate was indeed upset and crying after Charlotte’s dress fitting.
