Meghan Markle has re-launched her podcast after taking nearly a month hiatus to pay respects to Queen Elizabeth II following her passing.
The fourth episode of the Duchess’ podcast Archetypes was released on October 4 and Meghan sat down with comedian Margaret Cho to discuss Asian-American figures in the entertainment industry.

(Image: Getty)During the podcast, Meghan discussed her childhood growing up in Los Angeles which is known to be one of the most multicultural cities in the world.
The Duchess of Sussex revealed a “humbling experience” as an adolescent where she would regularly visit a Korean bathhouse with her mother, where they would both bathe in the nude.
“I had a real love of getting to know other cultures. And part of that, my mom and I would often go to the Korean spa together,” she said.
The podcast does not mention the Queen.

“All I wanted was a bathing suit, but you’re not allowed, by the way.”
Spotify recently announced Meghan’s podcast would be “paused during the official mourning period” which ended September 26. In the series grand return, she made no mention of the Queen’s death or reference to any other royal family members.
Meghan’s podcast was recorded prior to Queen Elizabeth’s death on September 8, and sources revealed the Duchess rushed to make edits to some of the more “insensitive” content in her episodes.
“I have also heard that there are edits being made to Meghan’s upcoming podcast interviews to ensure that nothing insensitive or insulting is said in the direction of the royal family,” Royal expert Kinsey Schofield told GB News.
Such drastic changes were further highlighted by the previous episodes in which Meghan made numerous references to the monarchy.
Prince Harry is also allegedly rushing to make changes to his memoir following his grandmother’s passing. His book has since been pushed back to early 2023.
