For those of you unfamiliar with the โ80s cartoon reference, She-Ra is the twin sister of He-Man, and a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her strength. The Suits actress went on to muse about the hysteria surrounding her now-sister-in-law Duchess Catherine when she married Prince William in 2011.
โGrown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate,โ Meghan wrote.

Meghanโs impassioned Tig Talk essay was part of a piece to frame her interview with Princess Alia Al-Senussi, who was exiled with her family from Libya after dictator Gaddhafi took to power in 1969.
Clearly inspired to be getting the chance to pick the brains of royalty, Meghan admitted she had a โpinch-myself-Iโm-emailing-with-a-princessโ moment during her correspondence with Princess Alia Al-Senussi.

In 2011, Prince William married Duchess Catherine. 7 years later, Meghan and Harry would delight royal watchers around the world with their wedding.
