Duchess Meghan has been known for wearing the trends of seasons to come long before we see them filter onto the street.
Her latest outfit is case in point – making an incredibly rare appearance via video link for The 19th* Represents virtual summit, an organisation working to empower and enrich the lives of females across the world, Meghan was looking bright and radiant as ever as she spoke from her LA home.
Of course, her words themselves were enough to have us hooked, but it was her understated chic outfit that also immediately caught our attention.
Meghan was interviewed by The 19th Represents CEO Emily Ramshaw, who asked her about her experience in being front and centre of the headlines.
“I think what’s so fascinating, at least from my standpoint and my personal experience the last couple of years, is the headline alone, the clickbait alone makes an imprint,” she said.
“That is part of how we view the world and we interact with other people – there’s so much toxicity out there. In what is being referred to, my husband and I talk about it often, that economy for attention. That is what is monetizable right now when you’re looking at the digital space and media.”
As they spoke during the pre-recorded interview, it was also possible to see inside Meghan and Harry’s brand new LA pad, which they purchased in June, reports confirmed last week.
At one point in the interview, Meghan also comments on how happy she is to be home.
As the interview came to a close, the mum-of-one made the comment, adding that she was planning to be more vocal in the future.
Onto Meghan’s outfit, we were frankly coveting her sleeveless orange top, which is a silk creation by Hugo Boss.
The Duchess added delicate bracelets by Cartier and Monica Vinader, and wore her hair out in loose waves.
While Meghan’s Hugo Boss top might be a little out of the budget range of many, there are plenty of similar styles out there that look just as chic, for a fraction of the price.
We found some of the best options – just in time for the incoming summer.
