Ladies in red indeed!
Duchess Catherine and Duchess Meghan stepped out in London on Wednesday for separate events, however there was a rather striking similarity between the two – they both donned eye-catching red ensembles.
The Duchess of Sussex stepped out in a stunning burgundy coloured Club Monaco dress and coat as she attended an event at the Hubb Community Kitchen.
Meanwhile the Duchess of Cambridge looked ravishing in a Paule Ka skirt suit as she visited the University College London.
While the pair certainly looked similar in their shades of berry, it shouldn’t come as a surprise given Kate is reported to have given Meghan fashion advice as she prepared to enter the royal fold.
According to The Independent, the Duchess of Cambridge advised Markle on royal wardrobe protocol and how she will have to adapt to it in the future.
“She has provided Meghan with names of some of the favourite UK go-to designers on everything from dresses, coats and the all-important British hat,” a source told the publication.
Meghan has been known to don some of Kate’s favoured designers including Self Portrait and Emilia Wickstead in the past, and we certainly can’t blame her – Kate is one very stylish Duchess!

Meghan’s event at the Community Hubb kitchen was a particularly special one given she worked closely with the organisation to create a charity cookbook earlier this year.
The cookbook, named Together: Our Community Cookbook, was created with women who were affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
During the event, Meghan was reunited with some of the women she created the book with, and suffice to say there were plenty of heart-warming moment as she embraced them.
The Duchess of Sussex’s visit was to see how the community has progressed, as well as viewing a redesign and fit out of the kitchen.
The pregnant royal’s growing baby bump was also front and centre, particularly when the expecting mum cradled her tummy while wearing an apron.
Meanwhile, Duchess Catherine also had a grand day out visiting Developmental Risk and Resilience Unit in the Psychology & Language Sciences Division of the University College London.
During the visit, Kate learned about the department’s research into neuroscience and how the environment shapes how a child develops socially and emotionally.
The mum-of-three also joined in a round meeting table with the research team.
The royals have had a rather busy few months, with Kate returning to work in early October following the birth of Prince Louis, attending a slew of royal engagements.
Meanwhile Meghan and new husband Prince Harry have been jet setting across the world for their royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga in October.
In November, the ladies donned their glad rags on more than one occasion, including one particularly special event at Buckingham Palace: Prince Charles’ 70th birthday.
The pair, who were snapped as they entered the event by car, looked stunning wearing striking diamond earrings and wearing their hair in similar up-dos.
