It’s the wonderful news the world has been waiting for – head-over-heels Prince Harry and his gorgeous princess Meghan Markle are set to wed in May!
With less than six months to go until the much-anticipated nuptials, the loved-up couple are deep into making plans for the day we all knew was coming since Harry, 33, and Meghan, 36, began dating 16 months ago.
“Meghan has been dreaming of this moment for months,” reveals a friend of the US born bride-to-be, who says she knew very early on that Harry was to be her very own Prince Charming.
As they share their love story with the world, we reveal how the couple are preparing for the wedding of the century…
Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s cute invitations
Having become close to William and Kate’s children, Prince George, four and Princess Charlotte, two, Meghan devised a very special way to ask them to help out on her big day.
“Meghan had books made up for each of them, all about a princess looking for her flower girl and pageboy,” says our insider.
“The kids are so excited!” And having played the same roles at their aunt Pippa Middleton’s wedding in May, they’ll be total pros.

The wedding dress of Meghan Markle’s dreams
Meghan’s already begun shopping for her gown, having enlisted the help of her close friend, PR-turned-stylist Jessica Mulroney.
“She’s been trying on dresses for months,” spills one source close to the former Suits actress.
“Meghan loves British designers, but she hasn’t made up her mind yet.”
Chief bridesmaid Kate, 35, is also on hand to help out.
“Kate has enlisted herself as Meghan’s unofficial wedding stylist,” reveals another palace insider.
“She’s set up meetings with a range of designers to meet them at Kensington Palace.”
Meghan has noted in the past the celebrity bride she’d most hope to emulate is Carolyn Bessette Kennedy.
Carolyn wore a pearl Narciso Rodriguez bias-cut slip when she wed John F Kennedy Jr in 1996. Friends say Meghan will choose something understated, too.
Harry, meanwhile, has his suit ready to go.
It’s thought the former army helicopter pilot will be in full military dress when he meets Meghan at the altar.
“He’s extremely proud of his background,” explains a royal source.
Meet Meghan’s real-life cupid
One person securing a spot on the VIP guest list will be this pal.
While the pair have kept mum on her identity, Woman’s Day can reveal the woman who introduced Harry to Meghan by setting them up on a blind date last July.
Fashion designer Misha Nonoo, 31, is believed to be the mutual friend who brought the newly engaged couple together.
Insiders say she became close to Meghan after they holidayed together in Europe in 2016 and used the opportunity to introduce her to the handsome prince, who she’d known for years via her then-husband Alexander Gilkes, an old schoolmate of Harry’s from Eton.
Unbelievably, Meghan – who grew up in the US – had little idea about Harry and his role in the royal family.
She had just one question. “I said, ‘Well, is he nice?’” she recalls. “Because if he wasn’t kind, it just didn’t seem like it would make sense.”
Having never watched Suits, Harry says he didn’t know who he was meeting so he asked Misha to fill him in on everything about Meghan to be prepared for the drinks date.
“I was like, ‘Right, OK, give me a bit of background, like, what’s going on here?’” he says. “I’d never even heard about her.”
