When a couple’s 10-year mark comes and goes, you’re surely a shoe-in for wedding bells.
Well, that at least is the case for Princess Diana’s niece, Lady Amelia Spencer, who has announced her engagement to her childhood sweetheart of 11 years.
After more than a decade of courting, she and husband-to-be Greg Mallett are ready to tie the knot.
In a gorgeous announcement shared to Instagram, Mallett, a real estate agent, shared four sweet pictures of the pair (and the ring!) along with the caption: “So this was the best day of my life. 22nd of July 2020, I asked the love of my life to spend the rest of her life with me and she said YES.”
He continued: “Couldn’t be happier and I love you with all my heart @ameliaspencer15.”
Greg and Amelia are engaged after 11 years of dating.

She commented beneath the picture writing: “I couldn’t love you more. Happiest day of my life!” – along with several love-heart emojis.
What a sparkler!
(Instagram)Amelia’s proud father, Charles Spencer, who is Princess Diana’s brother, also shared his own well wishes for the couple.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “So happy for my daughter, Amelia, engaged to her boyfriend of 11 years, Greg – it’s wonderful to hear them both so excited about their future.”
“Sending them both love, and every good wish for their life together. I love that Greg asked my blessing before proposing. Very sweet.”
Greg shared a series of photos to his Instagram account of himself and Amelia following their engagement.
(Instagram)This certainly isn’t the first Spencer family member who is set to walk down the aisle soon.
Amelia’s older sister Kitty, a successful model, is also set to wed Michael Lewis, a 60-year-old millionaire fashion mogul of the Jewish faith. It’s been reported that Kitty will convert to Judaism ahead of their nuptials.
The two sisters share two other siblings, Eliza and Louis (who is very easy on the eyes – see for yourself).
Lady Kitty Spencer is understood to be converting to Judaism as she prepared to wed her 60-year-old fiancee Michael Lewis.
There is now excited speculation that the Spencer’s close cousins, Prince Harry and Prince William, may also attend both weddings.
The families are reportedly close given their link with Princess Diana – and also the Spencer siblings all attended both William and Harry’s own weddings in 2011 and 2018 respectively.
