There are few times when using the age-old saying “like mother like daughter” has brought us as much joy as when it’s said in regards to Princess Charlotte and the Duchess of Cambridge.
So we are absolutely relishing in an adorable new video which shows Charlotte taking after her mum in the sweetest way.
Last week Kensington Palace released footage of the Kate’s latest Zoom call with several teachers from the Ribbon Academy in County Durham.
The conversation came in line with Children’s Mental Health Week, currently taking place in the UK.
During the call Kate can be seen reaching back to twirl her hair which was pulled back in a ponytail.

Kate looked stunning as ever in a regal blue ensemble.
(Kensington Palace)The twirl is identical to that done by Charlotte in a sweet video of the young royal on her first day of school back in September 2019.
The five-year-old’s hair was also pulled back into a ponytail as she walked into Thomas’s Battersea in London with parents, Wills and Kate and brother George, doing what we will now deem the iconic twirl.

(Getty)The identical move was first spotted and mashed together into a cute clip by a Tik Tok fan account @dofcambridge.
“Like mother like daughter, hair goals 💕,” they captioned the video.
We can’t help but gush over the stunning resemblance between the mother and daughter.
And we’re clearly not the only ones.
PEOPLE reported that when a royal fan remarked that Princess Charlotte was her favourite, a diplomatic William responded: “Yes, she is lovely — just like my wife.”
Princess Charlotte is frequently compared to the Windsor side of the family with some remarking that she is the spitting image of her dad.
Fan also think Charlotte resembles Diana.

Just like when Diana was a little girl, the pair share the same soft smile, sparkling eyes and cheeky expression. While others are convinced she’s a dead ringer for her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
