The royals’ residence, which is located North of London in Norfolk, has been a place of mystery to many – up until the pandemic began, at least.

But now, royal fans are getting an insight into the lives of Kate, William et. al away from the spotlight, and you can bet we’re soaking up every detail.

Throughout lockdown, Kate and Wills became regular faces on our screens as they partook in various Zoom calls in order to carry out their royal engagements – in a COVID-friendly way.

The latest appearance came as a surprise on Friday morning, when Kate joined in a heartwarming video call with nurses across the UK.

She dedicated the video to thanking them for their tireless work on the frontline as the pandemic continues to cause chaos, particularly in the British country at this time.

The Duchess spoke to several nurses about their work during the pandemic.

Speaking to the nurses, Kate told them why their work was so important, and reiterated how grateful she, and the rest of the country are for this.

“You hear time and time again about the amazing things nurses up and down the country are doing – going that extra mile. It’s the things that are not part of the training… but the things that come from your heart, and I think that’s what matters so much now: these acts of kindness to the patients you’re looking after,” she told them.

In a Tweet, the Palace wrote: “Nurses up and down the country are going that extra mile, at a time when patients need it the most.

“These acts of courage, strength, and kindness matter so much right now & we owe you a huge thank you for all that you have done & continue to do throughout these difficult times.”

Kate reiterated how important the work of nurses across the country continues to be at this time.

For the special call, Kate looked ultra chic in a black blazer with white lapels.

She wore her hair straightened and out, accessorising with a simple necklace and pearl drop earrings.

Kate’s outfit was ultra chic.

In the background, it’s possible to make out the gorgeous (and now iconic) picture of Kate and Prince Louis, snapped almost two years ago when the Duchess’s Chelsea Flower Show garden design was revealed.

The pic features the mother and son sharing a special moment as they spend time in the outdoors – one of Kate’s favourite things to do with her children.

We’re sure the sweet insights into Kate and Wills’ family home will continue as they remain at Anmer Hall for the time being – perhaps her children in question will also make an appearance.

One can hope…

This gorgeous picture takes pride of place on Kate’s mantelpiece.
