Duchess Catherine is an undisputed colour chameleon, slotting seamlessly into any situation in a perfectly put-together outfit.
Her latest look is case in point as she marched through day two of her royal tour of Scotland.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge carried out their first official event of the day in Scotland’s Orkney, where they formally opened the Balfour Hospital in Kirkwall.
For the event, Kate looked gorgeous in a longline camel coat by Massimo Dutti paired with matching wide-legged trousers.
In a nod to the very place she was visiting, Kate also added a tartan scarf into the mix – very apt.
As Australia delves into the cooler winter months, Kate’s chic look comes at high time for some fashion inspiration.
We found some chic and affordable match-ups to achieve those Kate-coat dreams.
Later in the day, the Duchess made an impressively quick outfit change into something a little more casual.
Visiting Orkney’s European Marine Energy Centre, Kate wore a brown hooded jacket, blue skinny jeans and a pair of lace-up boots.
She also added a pair of gorgeous delicate golden drop earrings – the perfect way to dress up a dressed-down look.
Speaking to kids at the event, the Duchess was asked an unexpected question: “Are you a Prince?”
According to HELLO!, the Duchess perfectly responded: “I’m not a Prince. I’m the Duchess of Cambridge. Lots of people call me Catherine.”
Clearly, she’s always ready for any question, and always ready for any outfit. Unflappable as they come!
