The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry to the Duchess of Sussex, formerly known as Meghan Markle, in May this year was unforgettable.
From the abundance of celebrity guests in attendance to Prince Charles walking Duchess Meghan down the aisle after her father’s health problems left him unable to attend, it was a once in a lifetime event.
One extraordinary moment from The Royal Wedding ceremony was The Kingdom Choir, the gospel choir who serenaded the newlyweds with a stirring and soulful rendition of the Ben E King song Stand By Me.
The performance, viewed by millions around the world, quickly topped the U.S. Hot Gospel Songs chart.
In fantastic news, their genius has been recognised, and the group are set to release their first album in November this year after scoring a record deal with Sony Music.
To celebrate the groundbreaking achievement, the Kingdom Choir gave a surprise performance outside Kensington Palace yesterday, re-performing their Stand By Me for lucky royal revellers.

Global News reports the choir has been performing together for more than 20 years, and their strong bond is a big part of what makes the group so unique.
Karen Gibson, the choir leader, told Reuters the group is over the moon following the record deal news.
“We really didn’t expect that and we really just thought that we would have a lovely time at the wedding and maybe have a bit of a platform, but then this happens,” Karen said.
“I would never have thought it in a million years.”
The Kingdom Choir will be performing a concert in London in late November.
