We’ve just caught our first glimpse of Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry’s brand-new baby boy, and it’s safe to say our hearts have melted.
Stepping out at Windsor Castle, the royal pair looked every bit the doting new parents they are – and rightly so, their newest addition is so cute it hurts!
Their first public appearance was highly anticipated after it was announced Meghan and Harry had welcomed their son on Monday, May 6th.
Determined to do things their way and avoid an overwhelming crowd, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex positively glowed as they debuted their bub to a group of small, select media outlets.
Speaking to the cameras, Meghan shared her thoughts with the world for the first time since becoming a mum, and what she had to say did not disappoint.
“It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy,” she said.

Dressed in a stunning white button up dress by British designer Grace Wales Bonner, Meghan looked simply radiant.
And much like the Duchess herself, the talented young fashion designer is of mixed heritage, with her mother being British while her father is Jamaican.
Meanwhile, the new royal baby was swaddled in a luxury GH Hurt & Son shawl and the company revealed that Harry and Meghan had chosen the “Leaves and Flowers Baby Shawl” for the occasion.
GH Hurt & Son has supplied the royals for an impressive 70 years, so it was sweet to see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex adhere to royal tradition.
Going by Meghan’s track record of being a style influencer, we’re predicting this new tyke’s wardrobe will sell out just as quickly as his mum’s!
Meanwhile Prince Harry, dressed in a smart grey suit, gushed about his new baby boy.
When asked which parent the baby resembled more, Harry said: “Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks.
“We’re basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really. But his looks are changing every single day, so who knows.”
He added: “It’s great. Parenting is amazing.
“It’s only been two and a half days, three days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy and to be able to spend some precious times with him as he slowly starts to grow up.”

While most of the family haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Baby Sussex just yet, Duchess Meghan did reveal that one senior royal had said a quick hello.
“We just bumped into the Duke [of Edinburgh] as we were walking by which was so nice. It’ll be a nice moment to introduce the baby to more family and my mum is with us as well.”
“Another great grandchild!” Harry added.
After the questions, we were granted a close-up look of Baby Sussex and as his doting mum and dad looked down, Prince Harry laughed, “He’s already got a bit of facial hair!”
Once their first family photo shoot wrapped up, Meghan and Harry thanked the press and departed the historic castle with Baby Sussex and it’s expected they’ll return to their new home of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
The pair have been busy preparing Frogmore Cottage ahead of the birth of their new baby.
The sprawling residence, which was gifted to the couple from The Queen, sits within the private Home Park and looks out onto the stunning grounds of Frogmore House.
The cottage is split up into five apartments, and has undergone extensive renovations over the past few months, with reports that a gym, yoga studio and of course, a baby nursery, were added to the abode.
Their first-born will have plenty of breathing space in the stunning location, with the Queen’s former chef Darren McGrady telling Hello! that it was a very private spot.
“The Queen would put on her wellies and walk her dogs there. Harry and Meghan can walk their dogs, go anywhere in the park freely,” he said.
We’re sure Meghan and Harry will now be taking some time to settle into their new lives as parents – but that’s not to say we won’t be seeing more of them!
It’s believed Baby Sussex’s first official outing will be his christening around August. While Meghan is believed to be attending Trooping the Colour in June.
