She’s spent almost two decades as a hardworking royal, and at 73 years old, Duchess Camilla has never been more lively.
The Duchess of Cornwall is celebrating her birthday on July 17, and to mark the occasion, the Palace has shared a rare new portrait of the vibrant royal.
Standing amongst the greenery in the garden of Clarence House, Camilla posed for a beautiful portrait shot with renowned royal photographer, Chris Jackson.
“A new photograph of The Duchess of Cornwall has been released to mark Her Royal Highness’s 73rd birthday tomorrow,” the Palace explained on Instagram.
In the striking image, Camilla smiles brightly into the camera looking radiant and healthy with a perfectly windswept ‘do – and a rather bright outfit.
The electric blue zip-up blazer she appears to be wearing is eye-catching to say the least – only heightening the warmth that comes through in the pic.

“Happy Birthday, that is such a lovely photo,” wrote one.
Another added: “That is the perfect colour blue for her!”
“Lovely, I really like her. I think shes so natural and caring,” shared one fan.

He added some insight about Camilla’s nature, which he has watched first hand for a number of years.
“I’ve been lucky enough to travel around the world on Royal Tours with The Duchess for well over a decade and a half and I hope this picture conveys a little of her great sense of humour on a summer day in the gardens of Clarence House.”
Camilla certainly wasn’t the only royal to rock an electric blue outfit this week.
In fact, it’s possible she’s even taken a style cue from the ever-fashion-forward Duchess Meghan, who also wore a bright blue outfit for her highly anticipated speech at the Girl Up Summit on Tuesday.
Meghan also debuted a new hairstyle with the complimentary sleeveless look, wearing her iconic dark tresses straightened with 70s-esque layers at the front.
