Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have only announced their engagement last week, but that hasn’t stopped us from imagining every last detail of their big day… Who will cry first? What will the bride wear? What roles will George and Charlotte play? Which celebrities will score an invite?
And now we have something else to dream hours on end about: their first joint trip down under.
The Herald Sun reports that the duo will head to Melbourne for a charity polo match next year.
According to the publication, the Victorian government has been approached and secret talks about the visit have been underway for quite some time.
Clarence House hasn’t yet confirmed the visit, but the royal residence did tell the newspaper any official announcement regarding the trip would be made after the royal wedding — that’s barely six months away.
The couple are set to marry at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018.
Of course, Prince Harry is already expected to be in the country to attend the Invictus Games in Sydney in October.
In a hilarious video, the fifth-in-line to the throne announced that the games would be headed our way in 2018.
“The Invictus Games has shown us what can be achieved when wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women rediscover their fighting spirit through sport,” he explains in the clip.

Speaking of the competition in which wounded servicemen and women compete in sporting events, Harry adds, “We have raised the bar higher with each successive games, and I know that Toronto are planning an incredible event when they host the Games in September.”
“But where should the Games go next? The 2018 Games are coming to Sydney!”
Harry — who founded the multi-sport event — also enlisted some A-List help in the form of honoree Brit and Aussie legend, Kylie Minogue.
Showing off his trademark humour, Harry receives a call from the pop star who happens to have a personalised ringtone to her hit song “I Should Be So Lucky.”
“Hi Kylie! Good timing, the 2018 Invictus Games are coming to Sydney! Can I guarantee the Aussies are going to bring it?” he says in the clip.
Not missing a beat, the former Neighbours star responds: “Hey Prince Harry! Listen, we’re stoked the Invictus Games are coming to Sydney but you don’t need to tell Aussies to bring it, it’s guaranteed.”
We won’t let you down!
