Royal fans were delighted when the Sussex Royal Instagram account shared a new photo of Prince Harry and baby Archie, all rugged up in Canada, presumably taken by Duchess Meghan.
While the little royal’s outfit is beyond cute, some eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Archie is wearing some very significant pieces of clothing- including one with a special link to Australia.
If you take a look at Archie’s footwear, you’ll notice he’s wearing a pair of iconic UGG boots, an iconic Aussie brand.
Turns out, the boots were one of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s first baby gifts and were given to the couple by Governor General Sir Peter Cosgrove and his wife, Lynne on the first day of their royal tour of Australia back in 2018 shortly after the royal pregnancy was announced.

Archie’s adorable bobble hat was also a royal tour gift, but this one was from neighbouring New Zealand.
Made by women’s group Make Give Love, the organisation donates a hat to a Kiwi in need for every one that is purchased and Harry and Meghan were apparently such big fans of the hat that they ordered several more after receiving one during the tour.
The snap of Harry and Archie was reposted by the organisation with an extra special caption to boot.
“We are so happy to see that the gorgeous little Make Give Live hat that Archie got before he was born has kept his head warm this year. Beautiful NZ Merino in the cutest ever style, even better is that his beanie has ensured that the head of someone in real need in NZ was kept warm too. Go Archie!”
On top of that, royal fashionistas have tracked down exactly where to buy Archie’s adorable little coat, and it’s from a high street brand! The animal-style coat complete with a hood with little ears is from British fashion brand Boden and is worth £36 (AU$68.05).
The Sussex family spent their Christmas in Canada, a country that holds significance for the couple and it seems that the family are enjoying some much-needed R&R.
According to the owner of a restaurant in North Saanich, Greater Victoria, Harry and Meghan were spotted by locals hiking and jogging while on their vacation.
