The British royal family stepped out as one to celebrate the monarch’s 90th birthday on Sunday.
Over 10,000 guests from around the world braved the London rain to attend The Patron’s Lunch street party held in Queen Elizabeth’s honour outside of Buckingham Palace.
After drawing back the curtains of the palace to check the weather, Britain’s longest-reigning monarch was ready to begin the procession.
She led the way alongside Prince Philip, her husband of 68-years, wearing a bright magenta coat and hat atop a floral pink frock.
Riding in the open-top range rover behind the two were Prince William, Duchess Catherine and of course, cheeky Prince Harry, who all smiled brightly and waved to excited guests as they made their way along the mall.
Thanking the guests who stepped out to join in on the celebrations, Her Majesty addressed the crowd, “I much appreciate the kindness of all your birthday wishes, and have been delighted and moved by the many cards and messages I have received.”
“How I will feel if people are still singing “Happy Birthday” to me in December, remains to be seen!”

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh couldn’t have been more proud of his wife on her special day!
Prince William, Duchess Catherine and Prince Harry followed the monarch and her man in the car behind, smiling and waving happily to the royal onlookers.
The three then hopped out to walk the final stretch, making sure to stop and shake hands with as many guests as possible. See Wills and Kate greet the delighted crowds in the next slide!
Joining the royal party were Prince Andrew and his daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who opted for the on-foot method of transportation.
The mother of two-year-old George and her feisty 13-month old daughter, Charlotte, impressed in a blue Roksanda Ilincic dress with a pink colour-blocked waistline.
Prince William, who donned a dashing navy suit, stole a moment to glance lovingly at his darling wife.
Wills and his “granny” chatted and laughed amongst each other as the official proceedings began.
“I hope you won’t mind if I say a personal thank you to The Queen,” began William in his touching speech. “And to do so on behalf of all her grandchildren – and great-grandchildren. Clearly touched by William’s kind words, Her Majesty took to the stage to express her gratitude. “To everyone here today, and to those holding street parties elsewhere, I would like to say thank you for the wonderful support and encouragement that you continue to give me.”
After the official march, brother’s William and Harry couldn’t wait to kick off the celebrations that began with a resounding chorus of Happy Birthday.
There’s no doubt about it – this sure was one special day for British ruler and her loving family.
