The Swedish royal family has released the name of their newest little addition: H.R.H. Prince Nicolas Paul Gustaf, Duke of Angermanland.
Princess Madeleine of Sweden and husband Chris welcomed their second child on Monday – just 48 hours after attending the Royal Wedding of her brother Prince Carl and Sofia Hellqvist.
Just days after the birth, the Princess has already shared the first picture of her beautiful baby boy. Posting the shot on the Swedish royal family’s Facebook page.
The picture shows the one-day-old baby boy sleeping peacefully in a grey onesie.
He has a full head of hair and lovely red lips.
Madeleine gave birth to her son at 1.45pm on June 15 with her husband Chris O’Neill by her side.
“Both mother and child are in good health,” a statement on the royal family’s Facebook page read.
The new baby joins Princess Leonore, who is 16 months old.
The family’s last outing as a threesome was a glamorous one – attending the lavish royal wedding of Madeleine’s brother Prince Carl Philip and ex-reality TV star Sofia Hellqvist.
The new baby will be raised in London as the family are planning to relocate to the UK later this year.
Madeleine and Chris met in New York and lived there until last year, when they returned to her native Stockholm. Chris grew up in London and Madeleine has lived there in the past.
