All aboard for the Queen’s Jubilee!

Despite the cold and rainy weather, hundreds of thousands of people have crowded the shoreline of the River Thames to ring in the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Wearing a silver and white matching dress and coat Queen Elizabeth II took to the water upon the Royal Barge ‘The Spirit of Chartwell’ with other members of the royal family to celebrate 60 years on the throne.

The spectacular pageant in which the Queen lead a flotilla of more than 1000 boats down the River Thames, saw a new world record set for the number of boats taking part in a parade.
