But their journey to love was not without “difficulty”, as a source close to the couple reveals in the latest issue of People magazine.

Though they’re said to be stronger than ever before, a friend told the publication that it took the couple, who met on the set of the 2012 comedy Wanderlust, “a while to figure everything out”.

But it seems the loved-up pair were able to do just that, with the insider adding that Jen and Justin “still very much act like newlyweds”.

“They love to laugh and share a wicked sense of humor,” the source reveals of the two, who spend time cooking and hosting dinner parties in their LA home.

“It’s possible that this marriage would not have worked as well if they were in their 20s, but they aren’t. They are great friends and have total respect for each other.”

Justin recently opened up to TV Week on maintaining a long-distance relationship with the Friends alum – the couple’s work demands means they’re not often in the same place for very long.

“It’s tough, it’s a pain,” Justin, 45, tells us.

“We have a two-week rule [to see each other]. But when you create those rules, they get blown out of the water pretty quickly.

“But when you are tired, you just make an extra effort to make trips back or have your partner come visit you.”

“I’m lucky because Justin is the funniest person I’ve met, and we make each other laugh.”

But when the pair do get that time, they simply cherish each moment.

“She [Jen] has an enormously good sense of humour,” Justin reveals.

“We make each other laugh a lot – we really do. There’s nothing that gives me more pleasure than watching her laugh hard and then getting her to laugh harder.”

Oh, stop it, you two.
