These Aussie sweethearts can’t get enough of each other.
celebrated his 21st wedding anniversary with wife Deborra-Lee Furness by posting a swoon-worthy tribute on Instagram.
Taking to the social media site on Tuesday, April 11, Hugh uploaded a snap of them playing tennis and penned: “To the love of my life. 21 glorious years. I love you with all my heart.”
The 48-year-old actor fell for Deb on the set of Aussie TV drama Correlli back in 1995.
Describing it as his “first job” in showbiz, he told Ellen DeGeneres of their fateful first encounter, “She was the star, and I had this major crush on her.”
He continued, “Everyone did. The whole crew had a crush on her and I was so embarrassed by that, I didn’t talk to her for about a week.”
The feeling was clearly mutual with Hugh and his now 61-year-old partner tying the knot in 1996.
The couple went on to adopt their two kids, Oscar, 16, and Ava, 11.
The beloved star has always been very vocal about his love for Deb.
“It gets better and better, I can honestly say that,” he said at the time. “She’s the greatest thing that ever happened to me,” he told Ellen last year.
Not one to stop with the praises, in 2013 he gushed to Good Housekeeping: “If anyone meets my wife, they’re like, ‘You’re all right, Hugh, but your wife is awesome.’ Everyone who meets her loves her.”
Congrats you adorable love birds, here’s to another 21!
