Rebecca Selley
REBECCA SELLEY
She competed against Guy Sebastian โ who is now a coach on The Voice in the first season of Australian Idol. But when she returned to stage, he bizarrely made no mention of the fact the pair had crossed paths in the past. During her blind audition, Rebecca wowed the judges with a rendition of Jess Glynneโs Hold My Hand but it was her cute two-year-old son JJ cheering her on who really stole the spotlight.

OLIVER CUTHBERT
Oliver made history on The Voice when he revealed he is transgender, leaving the audience and coaches in awe. Boy George praised Oliver for his bravery, telling him: โTo do that at 15 โ that takes some real strength. That is incredible.โ

VENDULKA WICHA
This isnโt the first reality TV rodeo for singer Vendula Wicha. She first tried her luck on The X Factor when Guy Sebastian was one of the judges. So it must have been dรฉjร vu for the singer to take on The Voice with Guy a newly instated coach.

NATHAN FOLEY
Most famous for his stint in massively successful childrenโs entertainment group Hi-5, Nathan Foley auditioned for The Voice to prove heโs just as talented when it comes to singing music with an adult audience. And heโs barely aged a day!

JESSE TEINAKI
The heartthrob contestant blew away the coaches with his energetic performance of 5 Seconds of Summerโs hit Youngblood. The 22-year-old tradie has also previously appeared on The X Factor back in 2014.

NATASHA STUART
In an emotional blind audition on The Voice Natasha Stuart told the coaches that sheโd just finished 20 weeks of chemo for breast cancer. The 42-year-old said she felt a special bond with Delta Goodrem, who also battled cancer, and ultimately picked the Wings singer as her coach.

JESSIE EILERS
Another heartbreaking Blind Audition featured 15-year-old Jessie Eilers, with a tragic loss inspiring her performance. Jessieโs mother died unexpectedly in 2016 following a blood clot and Jessie was determined to do her proud!

LEE HARDING
Placing third in Australian Idol in 2005, Lee Harding scored a number one hit with his iconic single Wasabi . More than a decade later, the multi-coloured hair is gone but the same powerful voice is back.

ELLEN REED
Ellen Reed was a finalist on The Voice back in 2016, but this time around she failed to turn a single chair after singing Diamonds by Rihanna. She later hit out at the show and described producers as โmanipulativeโ.

DENZEL
Billed as the contestant who was set to do something โno one on The Voice has ever done beforeโ Denzel got the crowd pumping as he performed an original rap. Although all four coaches were keen for Denzel to join their teams, the rapper eventually chose Kelly Rowland.

DAKOTA STRIPLIN
Dakota made headlines after he told Womanโs Day he may be the long-lost grandson of Elvis Presley. The 24-year-oldโs grandmother was working for Elvis in Hawaii around the time Dakotaโs father was conceived. And after the results of a DNA test revealed Dakotaโs father wasnโt directly related to his siblings, the family did some digging but nothing was ever confirmed.

ERIN CORNELL
The Voice contestant already knows one of the coaches quite well! She and Delta Goodrem apparently go way back, with Erin confessing to TV WEEK that she and Delta went to Bon Jovi and have cups of tea together โ among other friendly activities. Erin also shared that she worked as Deltaโs understudy in Cats.

CHRIDDY BLACK
Chriddy is another contestant who has brushed shoulders with celebs in the past. The 26-year-old heartthrob has modelled alongside the likes of Home and Awayโs Lincoln Lewis and Riverdaleโs KJ Apa. But Chriddy has faced some turbulent times in his life as well, and spoke candidly about the heartbreaking loss of his father from suicide at a young age.

DANIEL SHAW
Daniel Shaw was part of perhaps one of the most explosive Voice Blind Auditions ever when Boy George chucked a hissy fit and stormed out halfway through. Danielโs crime? He said โno one caresโ when he plays guitar โ a statement which George took umbrage at.
