Todd King – current star of The Bachelorette Australia and King of our hearts – professed his love for Ali Oetjen in tonight’s swoon-worthy episode. I won’t even lie, I may have shed a tear (or seven).
Despite their slightly different ideas on the perfect timeline for marriage and kids, it was clear in the episode that Todd and Ali are smitten with one another.
As Todd pointed out, “the one thing I like about loves stories and fairy-tales is they always have major obstacles but in the end they always make it through, and that’s what I think we’re going to do.”

After having a realistic – yet somehow totally romantic – conversation about their different timelines and plans, Todd asked Ali to take a risk on him.
“I am undoubtedly the highest risk, but I’m also the highest reward, ” he told Ali on their enchanting, fairy-tale inspired date. “That’s not me being overconfident, it’s because I know how I feel about you and what I could offer and what I could give you in a lifetime.
“I’ve never been so sure about anything,” Todd continued. “One thing I really believe in is you can never choose the timing of your life. As you like to say, you just have to live in the moment. And I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that I’m in love with you. I love you.”
The charming 26-year-old has found a place in Australia’s heart, alongside fellow top-two suitor Taite Radley. Though both men have the nation swooning, it seems fans have become OBSESSED with Todd.
