Fresh from her split from husband of 15 years Lee Henderson, Jackie O could be finding love again as the next Bachelorette!
Several of the radio host’s fans have taken to her Instagram account, telling her she’d be perfect to front the franchise’s next season.
And it seems as though they could get their wish of seeing Jackie hand out roses to 20-plus eligible bachelors!
“She’d be dream casting,” claims a source.
“Everyone was shocked to learn she’d split with Lee, and they genuinely want to see her happy.
“If producers aren’t already considering her, they definitely should. There’s no woman more popular in Australia than her. She’s also best friends with Sophie Monk, so she knows what she’s signing up for.”
Although things didn’t work out with her eventual winner Stu Laundy, Love Island host Sophie says “not one part of me regrets [doing the show]. I learned so much about myself. That was the best part of it.”
If Jackie, 43, does sign on to become the next Bachelorette, she’d be continuing in Ten’s recent trend of having a household name as the suitor or suitress.
Following the huge success of Sophie’s season, Ten cast former Wallabies player Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins as the Bachelor, and then Bachelor In Paradise star Ali Oetjen for the 2018 series of The Bachelorette.

But with ratings dwindling during Ali’s season – it had the worst viewership in the show’s history – “they need somebody who’s guaranteed to bring in the ratings like Sophie did,” says the source.
“And Jackie would definitely do that. However, given she’s said her focus right now is [her daughter] Kitty, it might not become a reality until a year or two.”
