After a rollercoaster ride of a day when it comes to the Bachelorette Australia, Network Ten has come out and CONFIRMED the news.
Former Goggleboxer and I’m a Celeb star, Angie Kent, is your next Bachelorette!
A statement released by Network Ten reveals that the 29-year-old from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland is ready to hand out the roses and find true love on the popular show.
“After months of speculation, 10 is positively pumped to announce that Angie Kent is Australia’s next Bachelorette,” read the upbeat media release.
“Sweet yet sassy, this 29-year-old Bachelorette is wide open to falling in love, but also isn’t afraid to tell Mr Wrong to hit the road.”
One half of the popular Gogglebox duo “Angie and Yvie” from the hit show, Angie left the couch for the jungle to become one of the favourite contestants on I’m a Celeb…Get me outta here 2019.
On becoming the Bachelorette, Angie said: “I’ve always been the girl who loves to make everyone laugh, but now I reckon it’s time to have someone to laugh with me, rather than at me.
“I’m at a place now where I have loads of self-love, but I’m also open to all of life’s amazing possibilities. So, if 20 or so fellas want to join me, have a laugh and potentially be my perfect partner in life and love – I say – let’s give it a red hot go!”
Network Ten’s, Hilary Innes, said that Angie was the perfect Bachelorette and we couldn’t agree more!
“She’s genuine, funny, loveable and naturally gorgeous. I am so excited to see Angie’s love story unfold!”
If you’re a bloke looking for love and think Angie could be the one, applications are still open.
To apply, you must be a single men aged between 23 and 40 and need to be available to film for up to 12 weeks.

Story continues…
Upon exiting the I’m a Celeb jungle earlier this year, Angie spoke with Now to Love and admitted that she’d been asked by many fans if she would go on the show.
“When I was on Gogglebox I would have said ‘hell to the no!’. But now, after being on this show and taking on everything that was thrown at me reckon I could handle a bunch of guys (as long as their nice men and not douche bags) throwing themselves at me and winning my love,” she said. “I think I deserve that, why not!”
Now that the cat’s out of the bag, we couldn’t be more excited for Angie to find her man and CANNOT wait for the season to start.
Is it the end of the year yet?
