Now that Ali Oetjen and Taite Radley are madly in love and moving in together, it’s time to find a brand new Bachelorette and it could be YOU!
If you’re single, unlucky in love and looking for that special lady – maybe finding her on reality TV is for you?
After an uncertain future, the Bachelorette is definitely returning for another season, after Warner Bros announced casting details on its Facebook page last week.
So if you’re searching for that special someone and looking for love, the next season of The Bachelorette is casting right now.
According to My Casting Net, the new Bachelors will be auditioned at the end of April 2019 and must be single men aged between 23 and 40.
To apply you also need to be available to film for up to 12 weeks and upload two photos of yourself and a short video.
In October last year, the future of the show was certainly in question.
Sportsbet opened a bid, betting that the show would not return this year.
According to the punters, viewers turned Ali’s season off in their droves and the odds were set at $3.50.
“More people are watching random people trying to win The Chase than The Bachelorette, which shows viewers are just not interested in who Ali catches,” said a sportsbet.com.au spokesperson.
“Unfortunately the writing is on the wall judging from the odds and the axe looks ready to be swung.”
A former Network Ten executive admitted that the choice of leading lady, Ali Oetjen was not ideal, due to those, ahem, rumours.
On his podcast TV Blackbox, Rob McKnight, who previously worked on Studio 10, admitted that he was shocked the 32-year-old wasn’t replaced.
“I was genuinely surprised Ten didn’t drop her. I believe filming hadn’t begun [when the cheating scandal broke],” he revealed.
The 2019 Bachelorette hasn’t been revealed yet – but we’re sure hoping it’s somebody wonderful!
