Todd King arrived on The Bachelorette Australia red carpet dressed as a knight in shining armour – but is he the one Ali Oetjen has been searching for?
Todd has made it to the final two, alongside Taite Radley, and in tonight’s series finale Ali will declare her love for the man of her dreams. Will Todd be that man?
It was a slow burning love for Todd and Ali, with the 26-year-old charmer having to wait weeks to score some one-on-one time with the in-demand Bachelorette. But, once they were together, their chemistry was clear.
Then, in last night’s episode, Todd declared his love for Ali and cemented his place as a front-runner ahead of the finale.
We take a look back on Todd and Ali’s road to romance ahead of the series finale.
Todd showed up to the first cocktail party dressed as Ali’s very own knight in shining armour.
Though his armour squeaked and made him uncomfortable all night long, Todd committed to the bit and truly made an impression on the Bachelorette.

And who could forget this moment, when Todd and Ali had instant chemistry during the Mills & Boon photo-shoot.
“I wasn’t expecting Todd,” Ali said in the voice over clip.
On another group date, Todd made a big impression on Ali during their dance routine.
“Todd and I had a really nice moment sharing our milkshake at the end,” Ali said. “He really rocked the 1950s look!
“And I’m thinking hello, where have you been hiding?”
It took seven episodes, and an intervention from Ali’s best friend Jess and cousin Bianca, but Todd finally scored a single date. And it was well worth the wait.
For their romantic date, Ali took Todd to meet Australian designer Daniel Avakian. They designed outfits for each other, and sparks were flying as they relaxed in bath robes during their fitting.
After their fashionable date, Todd and Ali took a moment to eat a Bachie approved cheese platter and sip on some champagne.
“I was getting scared before today, I was questioning where I was fitting,” Todd told Ali. “I was just hoping I was in your mind somewhere.”
After talking more about their relationship and their hopes for the future, the pair shared their first kiss. Swoon!
When Todd and Ali walked in to the cocktail party after their designer date, their chemistry was undeniable. So much so, that Charlie decided to give Todd an awkward lecture.
On a Survivor inspired date, Todd lucked out when he was the odd one out without a partner to compete with.
Teaming up with Ali, Todd spent the day making her laugh and have fun… while the others had intense brawls.
During the hometown visits episode, Todd took Ali home to Perth to meet his beloved family.
The couple seemed overjoyed to be back in each other’s company for the day, with Ali literally skipping over to greet Todd.
During the hometown visit, Todd’s sister Kerryn made her reservations known to Ali.
“Todd being head over heels for Ali makes me worried,” Kerryn said, before questioning Ali about her intentions being on the show, and her plans for the future.
But in the end, all was well, with Kerryn saying “I do believe her answers, I believe she likes him and I think she’s a lovely person.”

On their last one-on-one date before the finale, Todd and Ali enjoyed a fairy-tale inspired day, beginning with a fencing duel.
Todd and Ali then retired to an enchanting candle-lit garden, where Todd declared his love.
“I am undoubtedly the highest risk, but I’m also the highest reward, ” he told Ali.
“That’s not me being overconfident, it’s because I know how I feel about you and what I could offer and what I could give you in a lifetime.
“I’ve never been so sure about anything,” Todd continued. “One thing I really believe in is you can never choose the timing of your life. As you like to say, you just have to live in the moment. And I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that I’m in love with you. I love you.”
