The Bachelor is about to kick off this week, with leading man Matt Agnew already causing women across the nation to swoon.
But it isn’t a dating show without plenty of drama and this year the stunning contestants’ secrets and scandals are set to be the most explosive yet!
Cass’ stolen Jewels
It’s early days but the drama has already begun with one hopeful at the centre of a feud with Married At First Sight star Tracey Jewel.
Last year, Cassandra was forced to involve her legal team after she accused the former TV bride of failing to return $4500 of jewellery loaned to her from Cassandra’s own label, and then ignoring legal notices.
But Tracey tells us it was a giant misunderstanding.
“She claimed I kept them and didn’t pay her, which was never the arrangement,” says Tracey, insisting she thought they agreed she could keep the jewels in exchange for a social media plug. [The understanding] was for Instagram promotions fair and square,” she says, before insisting Cassandra is on The Bachelor purely to benefit her business.
“Her true colours will shine through,” she says, adding she believes Cass just wants media attention and “isn’t on The Bachelor for love”.

Sogand vs Danush
Dubbed this season’s Persian princesses, Sogand Mohtat, 30, and Danush Deravi, 34, are set to go head-to-head, with one insider revealing all princess protocols are thrown out The Bachelor mansion’s windows when it comes to these two.
“From the moment they laid eyes on each other, they were on high alert,” says a source close to the set. Speaking to Woman’s Day, Sogand says she has no issues telling it like it is.
“I speak my mind and some people don’t like that. I can’t stand girls who are fake and I don’t have a problem letting them know I’m not a big fan,” she says.
“It would help if I could pretend to like everyone to avoid drama but I know I’d struggle with that.”
Emma busted with her ex
Opening up ahead of the show, Emma reveals she’s had no shortage of relationship drama.
“My last partner broke my heart. He never communicated that he had a problem with our relationship, so I was devastated when he broke up with me,” she admits.
But Woman’s Day can reveal that one lucky ex still has a welcome place in her life. The Irish-born Bachelorette, 32, raised eyebrows on set when she walked the red carpet with one of her ex-boyfriends, who assisted her by holding her dogs, before she met Matt. Awkward!
Medicated Matthew
With no shortage of strong-minded contenders for his love, it looks like astrophysicist Matt might have been overwhelmed with this year’s line-up.
The 31-year-old was snapped on set being handed a glass of what appeared to be whiskey before a producer was seen handing him medication.
