If you thought Cass Wood’s heartbreak on The Bachelor was bad, Brooke Blurton’s was catastrophic.
During the latest rose ceremony, just minutes before Nick Cummins was set to choose his final two, Brooke walked out in a panic, looking for her suitor.
In a complete and shocking twist, the 23-year-old from WA, left the show and a devastated Bachelor.
So why on earth, could someone who was obviously so madly into him, leave?
In an exclusive chat with Now to Love, Brooke reveals the real reason she left, and it had nothing to do with the Badgelor.
“There were a lot of feelings running through my mind,” she said. “Obviously I was just within myself, trying to process what he was trying to say and how I was feeling.”
“At the time, I definitely felt like I wasn’t good enough,” she revealed. “Looking back at it now, I think that’s definitely where I was at.”
You may be wondering why a gorgeous young woman, who has everything going for her, felt like she wasn’t what Nick wanted.
“I think there were a lot of things,” she said. “I do have a lot of self-doubt from my experiences in life. When someone doesn’t tell me directly, it leaves in a world of assumptions and I don’t really like that.
“I need a direct answer. I need to know if someone likes me or has the same feelings as me or is at least on the same page as me.”
Because of their very unusual situation, Nick was unable to give Brooke the time or answers that she needed.
“There were still two girls in the picture and he was still processing that as well,” she said. “I’m 100% empathetic about that as well. It wasn’t an easy situation.”
“I had to think to myself, I’m also involved and I have to do what’s best for me too.”
So with their insane chemistry and their obvious connection with one another, did Brooke think that he would have chosen her if she stayed?
“I don’t know how I’m supposed to answer that,” she said. “I don’t know how he was feeling or would be feeling and there are the other girls.”
