It’s official, Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski are husband and wife!
The couple who met in 2015 on the third season of The Bachelor Australia tied the knot in a small but stunning intimate ceremony surrounded by family and close friends at Byron Bay’s Fig Tree Restaurant. And of course, daughters Eve, 13, and Willow, one, played a starring role in their parents’ nuptials.
Snezana looked like a true princess in her custom made lace gown by Pallas Couture surrounded by her bridesmaids dressed in neutral tones.
Before applying to the show, both Sam and Snez confessed they applied for an adventure and to give love a shot and it certainly paid off.
“Neither of us can believe that somehow in this ridiculous way we’ve managed to find each other,” they revealed shortly after the Bachelor finale.
Sam even told Woman’s Day after he confessed his love for Snez, “I definitely know one day that I’m going to marry this woman,” and he’s kept that promise. Six months after the finale, Sam popped the question during a romantic weekend away in his hometown of Tasmania.

The two celebrated their engagement party in Melbourne but plans to a destination wedding in Italy were dashed when Snez found out she was pregnant.
“We were going to get married last year,” Sam previously told Woman’s Day. “We’d booked a venue overseas, paid a deposit, a non-refundable one, and Snez found out she was pregnant about seven days later.”

Willow Wendy Wood, Australia’s first Bachie baby, was born in October 2017 and the family of four are just too cute for words. But before any more kids come along, Sam and Snez confessed they wanted to get married first before they add to their brood.
In the lead up to the big day, both admitted that they are (somewhat) shredding for the wedding and it certainly has paid off!
Now that the happy couple have shared some snaps from their special day, prepare to swoon at their romantic wedding album. Can someone pass the tissues?
