In a teaser clip for the Sunday Project, the Honey Badger speaks candidly with Lisa Wilkinson about his time on The Bachelor, saying: “I feel like I was almost a boy compared to how I see things now.”

Sassy and strong as always, Lisa asks: “You do understand on The Bachelor you’re meant to be at a place where you’re ready to have a relationship?”

We couldn’t agree more!

Britt and Sophie were left distraught when Nick chose not to pick either of them.

And while last night’s finale left fans in various states of shock, it turns out we could have worked out the outcome a while ago.

Back in August, Nick subtly revealed in an interview that he actually wasn’t into anyone on the show when he was asked who his dream girl would be.

The 30-year-old said: “It wouldn’t be one of the ones on the show, that’s for sure”.

So he really was always doomed to walk away solo. Damn.

The Sunday evening show is set to be explosive. Along with a red faced Nick looking uncomfortable facing Wilkinson, we can’t forget the ladies he left high and dry.

In the teaser, it’s clear Britt, Sophie, Brooke and Cass are nothing less than livid.

Brooke and Cass are seen wiping away tears, while Britt and Sophie give new meaning to the phrase ‘staring daggers’ – we really wouldn’t want to be the Honey Badger right now.

Brittney exasperatingly says: “I don’t understand how we didn’t end up together.”

And a tearful Brooke adds: “My whole life has just been exposed, I wanted it to be worth it.”

Britt and Sophie look ready for battle.

A teary Cass breaks down.

Brooke appears distraught.

Whether the girls will get any more closure from the Honey Badger himself remains to be seen, but it looks like the vast majority of Australia is on their side.

Fans have taken to social media to weigh in on the shocking twist, and like the contestants, they’re not happy.

As the finale aired, the live reactions swelled.

One fan wrote on Twitter: “WTF I FOLLOWED THIS WHOLE BACHIE JOURNEY FOR NOTHING??? LIKE LITERALLY FOR NO REASON.”
