Unless you’ve been living in the Arctic, you may have heard about The Bachelor Nick Cummins dumping not one, but both the final two in last week’s emotionally charged finale.

While Australia had mixed reactions over the Honey Badger’s decision to choose no one, it was not until after the fact when the former Wallabies player appeared on The Sunday Project to defend himself that things got a little, well, heated.

Nick Cummins has appeared on The Project to defend his decision on The Bachelor.

You could have been mistaken for thinking that Nick had made an honest and empowered decision; however, his final message to the four girls he brutally dumped, including Britt Hockley, 30, Sophie Tieman, 25, Cass Wood, 24 and Brooke Blurton, 23, has indeed caused uproar.

It was when Nick told Lisa that he would buy the girls a drink that Australia was having precisely none of it:

“To all the girls, I went through a lot of stuff,” he said. “And I just want youse (sic) all to know, if I ever see you again I’ll buy you a drink and say hello for old times’ sake.”

Oh no, no, no, Nick! Just plain NO!

During the interview, the final four women made emotional statements about their time on the show and how they are still reeling from that insane finale.

“The fact he couldn’t see enough in one girl out of 28, just shocks us,” Sophie said.

“I feel like a joke,” Cass said with tears in her eyes and when prompted by Lisa, asking what hurt the most, Brooke said: “Just being so raw.”

It was clear Australia wasn’t happy, with many taking to Twitter to weigh in on the interview. Keep scrolling for the best reactions:
