Nick asked her to leave the mansion, but it appears Cat – regarded as one of the villains on this year’s season of The Bachelor Australia – is well and truly having the last laugh.
The fashion designer tells TV WEEK she’s keen to join other hopefuls looking for love on the upcoming series of Bachelor In Paradise.
“Bring on Paradise 2019 – fingers crossed!” the 24-year-old laughs.
Cat says there’s no love lost between her and Nick after some of the other girls in the mansion accused her of stirring the pot.
“If someone is going to believe what other girls have to say before they get to know me, they’re not the right guy for me anyway,” Cat declares.
“It’s changed my opinion of Nick. I thought we got along quite well. How he let me go took me by surprise and it didn’t make me his number one fan. I don’t think I’ll ever speak to him again.”
Cat has prided herself on being honest throughout her time on The Bachelor, regardless of how her opinions sat with the other girls.
“You can’t worry about what others think of you,” she says.
“There’s no girl code in the mansion, so you’ve got to be yourself and do what’s right for you. That’s how I’ve played it.”
She’s also in no rush to reunite with Tenille, who she clashed with in her final week on the show.
“I’d be civil if I saw her,” Cat says. “But it’s a shame she had to go and rat me out like that.”
“We never got along that well. She was aggressive with her approach in the house and a lot of the girls didn’t like her.”
The Bachelor airs at 7:30pm on Wednesday and Thursdays on Network Ten.
