Actor and television host Darren has an interesting strategy for the race, while he will be featuring as “the brains” of the operation his poor nephew Tristan will be putting his body and mind on the line.

“I’m going to sit down and eat pasta and drink lots of red wine and tell [Tristan] what to do. If there’s any kind of eating weird foods, he’s going to be doing that. If there’s anything that requires a lot of fitness and exertion, he’s going to be doing that,” Darren said.

The duo are racing on behalf of Feel the Magic, an organisation which cares for children who have lost their parents.
