The gloves are well and truly off in the second season of Celebrity Apprentice.
And while you may get to see a fair chunk of it play out on screen, there’s a lot more happening behind the scenes! Here, Woman’s Day unpacks the biggest bombshells this year. Get ready or get fired!
Cue the catfights!
The pint-sized popstar and Married At First Sight villain are set to go head-to-head this season, with a source revealing that Beck Zemek has no qualms in throwing Samantha Jadeor anyone for that matter) under the bus in order to save herself from getting fired in the boardroom.
The betrayal is so bad, we hear, that it threw their warming friendship into turmoil after filming had wrapped.

I’m a celebrity…can we stop filming?
While extended filming hours are nothing new in reality TV, Celebrity Apprentice brings new meaning to the word overtime with the celebrities filming 12 hours a day.
Warner Bros International head of entertainment Caroline Swift has cited “availability of location, Lord Sugar’s availability and how much money we have to make the show”, as reasons for the inflated schedule.
Lord Sugar is a sweetheart
Turns out the tough demeanour of Lord Alan Sugar is all just an act for the boardroom, with the cast said to be left “shocked” at how nice and approachable the 75-year-old Brit was during filming – when the cameras were off, of course.
“He was genuinely interested in getting to know them all,” says our spy. “Although he does say one too many dad jokes.”
Trailblazer Shaynna
The Block judge Shaynna Blaze won over a new legion of hearts when she won the show last year, and according to Caroline, she was the reason it was easy to get a lot of the new batch of stars to sign on the dotted line.
“Because Shaynna won last year and got through the process with grace and elegance, it was really good for me to be able to say, ‘Hey, look, you can play this game whichever way you want,'” she said recently.
Meet the handsome new advisor!
Nick Bell has taken Lorna Jane Clarkson’s place as Lord Sugar’s advisor. The handsome rich-lister made his fortune in 2008 by starting a digital marketing company in his living room with just a few hundred dollars in his pocket and is now worth $274 million!
A bunch of glamourpusses!
The glam squad on call for this season’s cast was something never seen before on the show, with Gamble Breaux, 49, Jodi Gordon, 37, Samantha, 35, Beck, 28, and 67-year-old comedian Jean Kittson’s personal hair and makeup teams meaning the dressing room looked something out of the Oscars green room! “It was all a bit much,” says our insider.
Miss Congeniality goes to…
She generated some much-needed laughs during the COVID-19 lockdown last year when she pretended to be former NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian’s personal assistant, and internet celebrity Carla from Bankstown is the much-loved class clown this season with the cast and crew, and even Lord Sugar, falling madly love with the social media star on set.
Jodi’s warning to Gamble!
Real Housewives Of Melbourne alum Gamble seemed to have left her carefree nature at the boardroom door – she’s said to have taken the show so seriously that co-star and friend Jodi was forced to pull her aside to tell her to calm down!
“It’s like she thinks she’s running for prime minister,” the former Home And Away actress was overheard saying.
Vince’s competitive underbelly!
Just like his character on the hit show Underbelly, actor Vince Colosimo, 55, proved to be just as a big a presence on Celeb Apprentice.
“While you’ll get to see a softer side, make no mistake Vince is not afraid of confrontation on this show,” says the insider. “He’ll stop at nothing to make some money for his charity.”
The rebrand reality
It’s no secret that this show can do wonders for a star’s career, but our insider spills that viewers can expect to see a very different side to some of their fave celebs this year – and they may not like what they see!
“I think a few were hoping for a big career and image rebrand, but I think it’s going to bite them on the behind big time,” says the spy.
