My Kitchen Rules is set to return to our screens in 2020, with a major twist and new judging style.
My Kitchen Rules: The Rivals will turn the heat up in the kitchen, with even more competition as five former favourite teams go head-to-head with five new teams in the “fiercest competition yet.”
The rival teams will be living together in separate houses, and they’ll have group mentors in Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge.
Through a series of cooking challenges in the houses, Manu and Colin will try to “bring the best out of their teams” to impress impartial judge Pete Evans.
Not only that, the network says that “a hint of romance” and “blossoming friendships” in the house will “add some extra spice” to the season. And, of course, classic MKR rivalry will be ever-present as the teams fight to win.
In the end, one team will be crowned My Kitchen Rules champions and take out the top prize.
