MasterChef Australia is back for it’s 11th season, and with it’s highly-anticipated premiere the reality series introduced viewers to 24 exceptional new amateur cooks.
A large number of hopeful home cooks presented their signature dishes to judges Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston during the auditions.
Of course, only 24 contestants were able to earn themselves the coveted white apron, with one set to follow in the footsteps of 2018 MasterChef winner Sashi Cheliah.
Along with advice from our three esteemed judges, this year’s contestants will be mentored through Immunity Challenges by MasterChef Australia alumni Poh Ling Yeow, Billie McKay and Matt Sinclair.
Among the famous chefs also gracing our screens, are Curtis Stone, Nigella Lawson, Maggie Beer, Rick Stein, Clare Smyth and Yotam Ottolenghi.
