Season 12 of MasterChef has been like no other.
Not only do we have three brand new judges in the form of Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong and Andy Allen, but some of our favourite contestants are back for a second shot at victory.
But like every other season, there can only be one winner and as each week passes, another contestant must exit the MasterChef kitchen.
And just because they excelled in their first season doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll go as far this time round. Season five’s Lynton was the runner-up on his first go but when he came back, the 32-year-old ended up being the first chef eliminated.
The steaks are higher than ever, but in case you missed an episode we have you covered with a full list of who’s been kicked out as they leave.

Season five runner-up Lynton Tapp was unable to impress with his final two dishes and became the season’s first eliminated contestant.
Courtney Roulston was a season two favourite, but she ended up being the second elimination after her pressure test didn’t go to plan.
Not even being best mates with judge Andy Allen could save season four’s Ben Milbourne when he served up overcooked salmon and was sent home.

Turns out too many flavours can be a bad thing, as season eight’s Harry Foster found out for himself, after he was sent home following a personal pressure test.
Dani Venn chose not to play her precious Immunity Pin and save herself from the elimination challenge, but that turned out to be the wrong call. Her dish was the weakest in the gooey challenge and she was the fifth person sent home.
Rose Adam didn’t quite nail her Pasta Not Pasta dish at the pressure test at the Enter Via Laundry but not everyone can say they offered Gordon Ramsay a job in their cafe!
Chris Badenoch surprised everyone by opting to make vegetarian dish saag paneer in the takeaway challenge. But after the judges deemed it underwhelming, the season one contestant was sent home.
It all fell apart for Amina Elshafei in last night’s mango passionfruit pavlova challenge with Darren Purchese. Falling behind early on, the twist of taking the recipe away with an hour to go didn’t help Amina. She was sent home after her delicate meringue fell apart at the judge’s table.
MasterChef viewers bid farewell to fan favourite Hayden Quinn, after his dish failed to shine a light on the hero combination of beetroot and horseradish.
The insane Black Box pressure test proved too difficult for Sarah Clare, who was sent home after she left some elements missing from her plate and failed to nail the taste of the dish.
Things got fishy for Tracy Collins when she overcooked her kingfish and was sent home.
