Celebrity MasterChef hasn’t been on screens since 2009 and the long-awaited revamp is the first featuring judges Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong and Andy Allen.

Last week we found out our top three: Tilly Ramsay, Nick Riewoldt, Collette Dinnigan, and the one tipped to win is not who you would expect.

2021 we saw famous faces including Packed To The Rafters star Rebecca Gibney, Olympian Ian Thorpe and Offspring star Matt Le Nevez try their hand at cooking up a storm.

However the contestant rumoured to take the title of Celebrity MasterChef is sports presenter and former AFL champ Nick Riewoldt who currently has odds at 1.10 to win.

Tilly Ramsay, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s 19-year-old daughter, has odds at 7.00 and is tipped to place second whilst fashion designer Collette Dinnigan is in third spot at 17.00.

Nick, who is also a devoted husband and dad-of-three describes himself as “a psycho competitor”.

In fact, one of the trailers hinted that he could be this year’s celeb champ early on.

After plating up a dessert style egg and soldiers dish, judge Andy’s voice can be heard proclaiming “This is the stuff that wins you the competition.”

One may worry that a group of celebs would be too chaotic for the show’s judges, but if their pre-show social media posts are anything to go by, they had the best time.

“I am in awe of the talent, humility, warmth and humour shown by these horrifically talented humans. A real career highlight,” Melissa Leong penned on Instagram.

Season four winner turned judge Andy Allen also remarked: “It was one of the funnest things I’ve done and as it turns out, these celebs have got game in the @masterchefau kitchen!”

Sports presenter and former AFL champ Nick Riewoldt is already the favourite to win.
