On Wednesday, Olivia – who has remained close friends with Jess since MAFS wrapped – took to Instagram to say she holds no grudges towards her co-star.

In fact, Olivia said she “loves” that her best friend and ex are hanging out when probed about in an Instagram Q&A.

“It makes me happy that everyone can all still be friends,” she shared. “Both of them let me know in advance that they were hanging, which I was all for.

“Anyone trying to make a drama of it is reaching.”

Olivia, who announced her breakup with Jackson last month, also hit back at claims their relationship went downhill while she spent time in the UK without him.

“I was very in love and committed while I was overseas. We missed each other. We loved each other very much. It just wasn’t all it [was] cracked up to be when I got home,” she said.

“We were happy… We just came to the realisation that we loved each other in a different way than what the future should hold. We are still happy, just as friends.”

The 29-year-old’s revelations come a week after she assured MAFS fans that her and Jackson’s breakup was “amicable”.

“I understand people like to think that I got ‘dumped’ but it wasn’t like that at all. We’re adults. We had an adult conversation about how the relationship wasn’t working for either of us and we both came to the resolution that splitting up was the only thing left to do,” she said.

“There’s no ‘juicy’ story. There’s no truth to the ‘haha he dumped you’ comments people say. It was a peaceful, joint decision.”
