Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie have announced their split after becoming one of the only couples to leave season nine of Married At First Sight together.
The pair announced their decision to part ways in a joint Instagram post, asking followers for compassion and privacy.
Sharing a series of photos together, including some from the reality TV show, Olivia and Jackson explained the sudden breakup in an emotional caption.
“After a wonderful 10 months together we have decided to go our seperate ways,” they wrote.
“There has always been a lot of love in our relationship and there will continue to be as we transition into a friendship.”
The pair appear to be on good terms, given the loved-up photos they chose to share alongside the statement.
It continued: “We have nothing but love and respect for one another, and no one is to blame for the end of this relationship. Simply a case of ‘almost perfect’.
“We hope you all can please show compassion as we navigate this privately. Love, Liv & Jack xx”
News of their split comes shortly after Olivia returned to Australia from a weeks-long trip to the UK without Jackson, who remained Down Under to train for an upcoming boxing match.
Olivia assured fans before she left that her and Jackson’s relationship was solid and his schedule was the only reason he didn’t accompany her.
Jackson also made sure to send his girlfriend a cheeky gift for her birthday while abroad, including a life-size cutout of himself.
However things appear to have fizzled out since, the couple confirming their relationship of 10 months is over after falling in love on MAFS.
Jackson and Olivia met on their wedding day when Olivia walked down the aisle to her husband-to-be, then a total stranger.
They became one of the strongest couples on the show despite drama surrounding Olivia and the “nude photo scandal” with fellow bride Domenica Calarco.
Jackson stood by her through the ordeal and after, when Olivia faced massive online backlash and trolling as the show aired.
Meanwhile Olivia stuck by her man when he was caught kissing another woman on a night out in May.
“It’s not the person I want to be, it’s not who I am, I am seeking help … it has been sh– but I have been lucky to have Liv by my side and she’s been nothing but an angel throughout it all,” Jackson said in a video at the time.
“We’re staying together,” Olivia added. “We’ve got a lot of healing to do, but ultimately, we love each other, and it’s not worth throwing it away,” they confirmed.
