“Former virgin” Matthew Bennett and his onscreen wife Lauren Huntriss started off as Married At First Sight’s most adorable couple.
They exchanges cute flirty glances, were supportive of each other, and eventually Matthew felt comfortable enough with his new bride to let his guard down and do the deed he’d been avoiding for 29 years.
Yep, the famous MAFS virgin finally got laid – and Lauren helped him get there.
But now there is trouble in paradise, with this former golden couple now on the rocks – and all will be revealed in tonight’s shocking episode.
Things started to unvravel last night, when Lauren tells Matthew she has been in relationships with women before.
“Lauren said she used to be a lesbian. That’s in the past. I don’t live in the past. I don’t hold anyone’s past against them. As far as I know she’s not a lesbian now,” Matt said.
Then, Lauren confronted Matthew about his “lack of dominance” in the bedroom.
“I want crazy, passionate lovemaking,” she said.
“I’m just a bit concerned. I don’t know how to say it. I think because of your inexperience and my experience, there’s certain things I need in a relationship that I feel you might be overwhelmed to do … I need someone to be dominant … I need you to take control.”

Matthew was super confused, replying: “Yeah, but … What does that … what does that look like? I don’t actually know what that means,” he said.
“Loz uses the term dominant and I’m still not 100 per cent sure what that means,” he said.
“Is that someone aggressive, angry, abusive? If that’s what dominant is, I don’t want any part of it.”
Oh Matthew. You’ve got a long way to go.

But now, in an explosive new promo for Wednesday night’s episode, Matthew reveals that he is “not attracted to Lauren.”
Matt is seen opening up to the other grooms about his feelings, saying he is “trying to force something that just isn’t there.”
Then, an upset Lauren confronts Matt.
“I just feel a bit used, Matt,” she says, before asking, “Did you use me to lose your virginity?”
Matthew then tells producers: “I’m not actually attracted to Loz.”

Matt’s confession comes just after he said he wasn’t sure if he was good enough for Lauren.
“There’s this overwhelming feeling that maybe I’m not enough,” the videographer told TV WEEK.
“I’ve always felt not good enough. To me, that’s something that concerns me. Am I going to be good enough?” says Matthew.
“With my limited relationship experience, will I be able to be everything she needs me to be? I’m so inexperienced relationship-wise, so it’s all quite a big deal.”
